Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Removing Non-hazardous Wastes (600/1004/6) (Construction) (QCF)
This qualification is designed for those working in waste removal/construction roles, who need to gain the skills, knowledge and competence to undertake non-hazardous waste removal safely and in accordance with employer requirements.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, though candidates will need to be employed in a suitable position, as it is assessed ‘on-the-job’.
The qualification covers the necessary competencies to remove non-hazardous waste safely and efficiently. It is assessed ‘on-the-job’ and learning will take place naturally as part of the normal working environment and routine.
An assessor will visit your workplace to observe your work ‘on-the-job’. You will compile a ‘portfolio of evidence’ which will demonstrate that you have the knowledge and competence necessary to meet the standard set in the qualification.
