Level 2 Diploma for Sustainable Waste Management Operative (Weighbridge Operative) (501/1477/3) (QCF)
Achievement of the qualification demonstrates competence by the learner to operate appropriately and in accordance with employment requirements as determined by the units selected, within a waste management environment.
The qualification is assessed 'on-the-job' at a suitable waste management facility which may include working on public highways or other areas accessible by the public or other persons.
The structure of the qualification includes some Units which are specified in other similar WAMITAB waste management 'operative' qualifications.
Progression Routes
The qualification provides progression opportunities by utilising units that are common to other waste management QCF qualifications. Furthermore, earlier qualification of a similar type can, through for example, recognition of prior learning RPL, enable progression to the learner to achieve this or other qualifications appropriate to their employment.
